Al Copeland is a pig?

So I was going to get gas today and I passed the former site of Copeland's resturaunt. I almost had to pull over from laughing so hard. Someone (Whoever you are; YOU ROCK!) had scrawled "AL IS A PIG" on the front door and side of the building.
Okay so here is some of the back story. Hurricaine Katrina happened a little more than 2 years ago. Since then Al Copeland, The founder of Popeye's Chicken, has re-opened many of his restuarants and at least one new one that I know of. His New Orleans sites have pretty much been left untouched for over 2 years. Both New Orleans site can be considered prime real estate as they are both located on St. Charles Ave. The site pictured above on the corner of Napoleon and St. Charles is a Mardi Gras hot spot because almost all of the uptown parades turn right there on that corner. Why Mr.Copeland will not take care of his abandoned properties is another New Orleans mystery.
Hey Al, if you are not going to re-open for business why not sell and let someone else take over?
I have have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years now. I really wish this spot was not wasted space.

I Agree, with the NOLA Guy, Al, Should let the Property go, or Sub-Lease the Restaraunt..to some Needy Waiters, cooks, Chefs, that are in need of Employment, not to mention..Bartenders, and the rest..,the Neighborhood..would be better off as well. Mardi Gras is Right around the corner.
